WARNING!! CONSTRUCTION SITE – hard hats and protective clothing must be worn. All visitors must report to site office upon arrival.

Ok, so perhaps that’s going a little overboard, but effectively it’s true. I’m undergoing a major rework where everything old will be removed to make way for new work, which is currently in the pipeline. Some pieces I can’t bear to part with, and I’ll more than likely post them again in their own right after a re-jig.

This isn’t a flash in the pan idea, it’s been rolling around in the back of my mind ever since Deathly Hallows, and I just wasn’t happy with the direction I was taking the characters. Aside from that, my reasons are: -

1. I’ve lost all my new material (and any material that I’d been sitting on for months and months but hadn’t posted). Everything I had was on a thumbdrive which has gone missing following the floods and all out destruction;

2. I’ve no inclination to pick up these stories anymore – it’s been too long, and without my well laid plans, I’ve decided to start again with something new; and

3. It’s a sign. This is a fresh start. I need new, I need different in as many aspects of my life as possible.

So, watch this space (if anyone still visits here or is remotely interested in what I write). It may take a while, but I’ll try my damndest before giving up.
