Biography

والحمد لله

"Qui n'a pas connu l'amour ne comprend pas ce qu'il peut faire. Moi aussi, j'ai parfois manqué les trains pour vivre beaucoup plus."

---Pierre Moissonnier, my host dad, after receiving a call from me telling him that I missed my train from Compiègne to Paris and would have to stay the night at my friend's house

(translation (rough): Those who have not known love don't understand what it can do. I have also missed trains so that I could live more)

Hey, my name is Leah, but you can call me Serena.

I live in France ... or at least I will until July 10. Check out my pictures.

I love Grey's Anatomy.

Irish music is my drug of choice. It makes me happy enough to cry. I have never been to Ireland but I know I will live there someday and I will listen to this beautiful music every day of my life and I will be happy.

I have come across a person who scares me because he can make me change when no one else has ever been able to. Because I'm Leah. I'm stubborn. I never change my mind about anything. All of a sudden, I don't know anything about myself anymore.

... wtf?

The rest of my profile is about fanfiction.

This is my brother's attempt at a fanfiction story, written about two years ago:

"Two more steps! One more steps!"

"No Harry, don't jump! Don't jump off a cliff!" Ron yelled.

"Wait, Harry!" said Hermione, and she ran up to Harry and smooched him. "Bye, Harry!" she said.

Then Harry turned around and he smooched ... Ron.

"Bye, lovers!" said Harry.

Then Ron and Hermione turned around and smooched each other, while Harry took an amazing leap and fell off the cliff ... the whole ... two ... feet.

He saw Snape down there. He walked up to Snape and smooched him.

Behind Snape he saw Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore ... smooching.

Harry turned away and covered his eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry Harry, I didn't know you were there," said Dumbledore with a small laugh.

"I see you survived the Cliff of Two Feet," said Professor McGonagall.

For his bravery for jumping off the Cliff of Two Feet, he received 150 points for Gryffindor.

Harry didn't know how it worked, but he went along with it.

These are my fics. The ones in italics haven't been published yet, but they're all planned 'n' stuff.

A Million Little Pices: Not affiliated with James Frey's book. Except they're both fictional. Haha. I kill me. This is a series of completely unrelated vignettes that occur in no particular order and from various points of view. MWPP-era.

What I Like About You: Lily Evans and James Potter's seventh and final year at Hogwarts--it isn't going to be as easy at it looks. Not only do they have to deal with ridiculous amounts of homework, Head duties, stupid relationship choices, and the ever-present threat of Voldemort, but they also have to deal with each other. Hourglass nominee.

You Make Me Feel Like Dancing: The real world isn’t the fantasy that children imagine. Newly graduated from Hogwarts, Lily and James have the answer to a life-changing question burning in their hearts. Relieved at last of homework, Head Duties and NEWTs, they discover that there are, in fact, more troubles awaiting them and their friends as adults. Sequel to What I Like About You.

I'll Be There For You:James declares himself the winner in the long-time battle of getting Lily to like him. Now married, they face an entirely new series of battles as the danger in the world around them increases in more ways than one. Sequel to "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing."

Goodbye To You: Sequel to IBTFY. Takes place from Harry's birth until ... well, the end. Haven't started writing this one, but I've got some decent ideas floating around my brain. I shoul dwrite them down before I forget them.

I Love You, I Love You, I Love You: (tentative) Accompanies GTY, and it's a one-shot about Sirius and someone else.

BUT! What's going to happen after the series is over???

Well, if I plan this right, my series will be drawing to a close just before the last Harry Potter book is published. Well, I plan (like any loyal fan) to get my greedy hands on that book through crowds of scads of people, injuring several people in the process with some vicious elbowing and once I get it I shall stand on the chackout counter of the store and say "I HAVE IT!!!! I HAVE IT!!!!!!"

Then I will barricade myseld in my bedroom and not come out until I've read it all.

Shoot. That won't work. I'm at my grandpa's birthday party that weekend. Damn.

Anyhow, I've been reading a lot of people doing the ficlet100 or fic100 (whatever) challenge and once my stories are all moot (I assume they will be--already I found out I got the names of James's parents wrong), I think I'll try my hand at that. It'll be a writing-on-a-whim kind of thing. After that ... who knows. Maybe I'll be done! ... only time will tell

.

Take a look at my favorites. I don't put just anybody there (especially favorite authors).

Much Love,
Serena V.
