note: not to be confused with necrophilia

So, I realized today that my once good friend UR.org has not really seen the likes of me for... well, longer than I care to admit. Anyway, I decided to drop by and see how everything was doing, and I am sad to say this is ghost town. Signature = self-fulfilling prophecy? I hope not.

A cat or raccoon or dog or something just got brutally murdered outside my window just now, I'm pretty sure. Judging by all the shrieking and screaming. Which has now stopped.

Anyway, tell me what's going on, all you old faces! And new faces, I'd love to meet you!

(I thought about writing an intro post in the appropriate section, but I'd already used that joke before, after my last disappearing act. I'm not very original.)

I...think I remember that, yeah. *grins* Nothing much is going on around here, to be honest—just watched a great Spanish horror flick named Rec, and am now on my way to bed.

Um. How's Canada? *laughs* You guys have elections now too, yeah? Ours were today.

Oh man it really is ghost town! *laughs*

Canada is getting cold. Lame. I have to wear sweaters and things now.

Yeah, we have elections coming up pretty soon -- it's the first time I'll be able to vote, and I have no idea who I want to get in. *grin* I think I'm going to have to dig up some stuff on the different parties so I know exactly who I want to get in -- right now I only have vague pieces. Clearly not 100% politically in vogue.

No. Shit. *sighs*

I voted for a notoriously bisexual and former drug addict for mayor. *grins* He was also a radical anti-government terrorist during our military dictatorship. All kinds of cool.

*watches Pushing Daisies*

Way to be Christy! :D

The only way I am happy with wearing sweaters and light coats is if they are long, so I can pretend I'm in the Matrix.

*waves* *shouts a hello* *listens to ghostly echoes*

Long coats are fun. It's still comparatively warm outside here, and so I refuse to turn on the heating, but somehow, my room seems colder than outside.

I knew I was blind! Because that's the only explanation for why my eyes must be playing tricks on me- Apple's back? =D

On a serious note, welcome back Eden! I've missed your sarcasm. ;D

I don't understand this weather. For a week it was cold and now it's springy hot. WTH? I had to wear summer clothes today.

Wow this forum hasn't been written in since Tuesday and it's Sunday now........

Wouldn't calling it Icarus just be begging your laptop to die?

Hmm. Possibly. On the other hand, then I need a Jocasta, and a pair of AntigoneandIsmene and EteoclesandPolynices. You can't have Oepidus without the whole motley crew.

I might call it Kreon. He doesn't die. He just suffers. A lot.

OR CASSANDRA. OR BACCHUS.

BACCHUS.
It can be a DRUNK.
I LOVE IT.
