I just realized right now that Five Women didn't win anything. *is sad* It's practically one of my most favorite fics ever.

I was upset about DDG not getting first, but then I realized it lost to copperbadge and I couldn't be upset anymore. copperbadge is love. I just finished all his Torchwood/Who fic and fell in love all over again.

I'm currently reading his Torchwood/Who fics, too. *laughs*

This real-person debate about slash amused me far more than it should, I think.

I'm slightly unhappy that Bar Maid didn't get anything, either. Basically, Lee ought to have won something. *sadness*

That fic both amused me, Christy, and reminded me of how I can't even read comical rpf without feeling awkward and slightly dirty. LIRL

Yeah I'm surprised she didn't, wtf. LIRL She was nominated like 2959369926 times.

RPF just sounds ... inherently wrong, for many reasons.

You mean the acronym or the thing itself? I am going to assume you mean the thing itself and agree fervently. In writer's craft last year I had to write a fake interview with Leonardo DiCaprio and that was weird on its own.

The thing itself. And not just because it makes me think of that infamous twimom's KS/RP fic. I have a couple of RL acquaintances that write emo band RPS, and it's just...ugh.

Bandom confuses me greatly, lirl. I like their music. That definitely does not mean I want to write slash orgies about them.

Um yeah no. RPF is just creepy and wrong. LIRL

RPF is kind of terrifying. Emma/Rupert and KStew/RPattz fic creeps me out so so so so much.

I've looked at some Narnia RPF communities, and most of it is William Moseley/Skandar Keynes, which, I think Skandar was like 13 in the movie, but there is also GEORGIE HENLEY/JAMES MCAVOY fic. Like, they say it's future fic, but Georgie was nine years old when they filmed the movie. WTF, man.

....Yeah seriously who watches Narnia and comes out of it thinking James McAvoy and Georgie Henley should get it on?

Okay stupid question because it's the internet, but still.

Or rather, the people that lurk in the internet are a strange, strange thing.

I looked through the community just now and saw an "Anna Popplewell/Liam Neeson (also Anna/Liam/William Moseley)" fic, wtf, and like five Will/RPattz fics. A summary for a Georgie Henley/James McAvoy fic:

Quote:
James stepped forward, leaning across and tenderly kissing her cheek, just as he had done a thousand times before. But he couldn’t pull himself away.

Nonononononono do not want. Fucking EVER. I feel all gross and dirty now. Oh, Narnia fandom. Why can't you just be content with the Pevensiecest?

You must admit, though, if it weren't for Narnia fandom we'd be several interesting discussions short. I feel like I recall a debate on talking-horse-ships.
