I was being a diligent student and employee. Hard-working, ambitious, serious, completely devoted, you know. I have been corrupted by you, corrupted, I tell you!

I totally played PC games before I discovered the internet. Sid Meier's Civilization, anyone?

I've been playing tons of PC games ever since I was six. My brother, my mom and me used to battle for the best PC in the house all the time, because we all had to play the newest game. Civilization was okay, but it got boring pretty fast, once you discovered the right strategy. Civilization III was better, but suffered from the same problem. Has anybody else been playing PC games when the old LucasArts adventure games came out? I am still addicted to those.

We used to play the city building games - Pharoah, Empire, etc - and Commander Keane (swoon) and D-Generation and PARANOID.

First PC game we ever played was "Oregon Trail".....I'm dating myself again, but that game was awesome.

You have drowned while trying to ford the river :|

Ummm, I never had many computer games, I was a PS1 girl (I am fucking better at Spyro than any of you bastards. I can't play GTA, I can't play Guitar Hero, I can't DDR, I can't do WoW or CS or any of those, BUT I FUCKING KICK ASS AT SPYRO THE DRAGON.)

ETA: Oh, wait, I just got it.

Oh, Kali, we should have a Spyro-off. Because I ROCK at that game. Also, Crash Bandicoot. (And all sequels thereof for both games). I still rock my PS1. Nothin' fancy for me!

OMFG YES AUSTIN, I WILL TAKE YOU ON. I'm good at Crash too, but not so much the first one because that game is freaking hard I don't care what you all say.

D: Now I wanna play but my playstation is all packed up somewhere.

I agree--Crash 1 is really hard. I've mastered 2 and 3, but I can't get past the third or fourth level in the original one. And there's a point in Spyro 3 where I stopped caring and gave up (I got so sick of playing as teh stupid ammo-lovin' bird that I was just like, whatever.)

I also loved Oregon Trail! And KidPix! And THE SIMS!!!

Same, I beat 2 and 3 (but I always hated the flying levels! I DON'T WANT TO BE A BLIMP!) but I can only do the first island in the original one. I found a code online to unlock all the levels and I still can't beat any of them.

All the Spyros are melded together in my brain but I'm pretty sure I beat them all, dunno. Omfg, the penguin! I liked him solely because I liked penguins. He was annoying to play as though.

OMFG KIDPIX, YESSS. Did anyone else ever play Bugdom? It's an ancient Mac game, they used to have it at school and if you finished your work early, all the cool kids played Bugdom.

I hate the freaking flying levels too! And the jet ski levels. But I lived for the ride-the-tiger levels. Hells yeah!

Dude, the day we got KidPix Deluxe was the best day of elementary school. Because if you weren't extremely dimwitted and could finish your typing exercises, you could just play kidpix. Oh, how I loved it. I used to illustrate SO many stories on that bad boy. Loved it.

We may have had Bugdom...is it something with a red-white-checkered picnic cloth and you have to stop the ants from getting on your lunch? We used to have something like that.

Our old computer labs rocked. We had those sweet [huge] Macs with the colored backs. It used to be just short of a fight to the death in order to score your favorite color.

OMFG THE JET SKI LEVELS WERE BRUTAL. And the ones where the rock would fall at you, or the dinosaur would chase you, ugh so hard. BUT YES RIDING THE TIGER/PIG WAS AWESOMEE.

Haha I had KidPix at home for a while, that was like... the best thing ever. But Bugdom was this game where you played as a bug and kind of.. explored... It was like a Bug's Life, lirl. Omfg I just found a demo online, I'm totally downloading that crap.

AND YES WE HAD THOSE TOO. Haha the gigantic iMacs.

I HATED when a Dino/Rock would chase you. I always made my mom do it because I got scared. I'd start to panic and totally freak out because I was afraid of being squished. Interesting side note: I used to think the little dance Crash did when he got a crystal in the 2nd one was SO FUNNY. I memorized it and did it all the time when I was bored. *laughs* What a dork I was.

I must go look for a KidPix demo!

I LIKE BURNOUT. But that's because like, you get to run people over and it doesn't require good driving skills, but deliberate bad ones!
