So I was lurking in the Twilight fandom and came across one of Sara's comments which said "BNF" which I didn't understand. Of course, Urban Dictionary, because the most useful thing on earth, proved to be amazing once again. Not only for telling me what BNF meant, but because...

BNF.

CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELVES, PLEASE. I don't think I LOL-ed so much in ages. Although not really.

LMAO.

Oh, hilarity. Man, that "definition" brought back some memories.

I seriously want to know who wrote that. And I want to edit it. *grins* "solarism created The Unknowable Room with seven other BNFs and one extra, and then disappeared, only showing up every so often to say she'd do amazing things and then disappearing again. She's also amazingly pretentious etc. etc. etc. etc."

I love how it says she's not snobby. That's because she was, like, fourteen, fifteen when she hit BNF status? So she couldn't really act like a snob without being a teenager, and she's still quite a bit of a teenager...

I'm sorry. This is what happens when Dede gets mentioned around Chris or me.

I remember seeing that a while ago and wtf-ing...

That amuses me as well. *laughs* And yes, Runi said basically everything I would have said.

(To be fair, Sharon, you only found Dede because you searched for "BNF."—which isn't defined yet—and UD looked for all definitions that contained that. "BNF" doesn't mention her.)

I personally love how Dede has her own page on urbandictionary.com. I think someone should make a page for Chris, really, after all that she's done for this site. Hooooooooonestly. *looks around at Roomies imperiously*

*grins* Of course I said everything Chris would have said. We've had this rant waaaaaaaaaaay too many times. And yes, admin gossip is fun. But, you know, it's better because they'll probably never ever ever see it.

(Oh, go ahead and stomp on our fun, Chris.)

Has/have she/they noticed that she's/they're no longer listed as admins?

Oh, honestly. That just cracked me up so much. I haven't really thought of her as an admin for so long. The last time I remember her being truly active was waaaay back when this site started. And I really haven't cared much about her since. So, meh.

*laughs* I doubt most of them have noticed, because most of them resigned or just haven't been showing up for a long time. I think Erin—and maybe Holly? Maybe?—noticed. And anyway, most of them didn't really use the modly features, I think...

*laughs* Yeah, well. Dede...yes. I think we've said all that needs to be said about her many, many times.

This is like reading celebrity gossip. It's great. Although the two of you seem to be trying to keep some modicum of classiness and not bitch right out, which would be a dozen times more hilarious.

I am surprised actually that Lona doesn't have her own UD/Wikipedia page, seeing as how she seems to pervade all corners of the fandom and internet. I would make her one myself, only I don't have an account in either place and I'm much too lazy to make one. 'Tis thanks to her that UR became great, as opposed to The Site That Could Have Been Great With All Its BNFs But Failed and Didn't and Died.
