I wasn't exactly sure where to place this... It's not really a regular forum post, see, but there you have it. *grins*

Anyway. I've sort of...kicked most of the admins out of the team, except for Runi and Missy. So I'm open to suggestions. I don't mind running this place pretty much on my own—there's not that much to do as it is and I can manage it on my own well enough—but there are always ideas for the improvement of UR floating around, and if I don't do it, no one does.

So instead of picking a team, I'm sort of...asking for suggestions. Who do you guys think would be good admins? *grins*

So pretty much when you comandeered UR.org Kelly and I went "OMG Chelle and Kerstin are totally new admins".

So that is my vote.

...They were the first names that came to mind, yeah. *laughs* But Chelle's busy with C&C; I don't know if she'd want to do this. And I...haven't seen Kerstin around in a while. *blinks*

What happened to Holly coming back?

Admin votes, well, not me for one. Kerstin and Chelle seem responsible and old enough to do the job well, and um, Liz? She's around a lot and works at a computer (I think) and so has time available to her if she wants to be one....?

Hm, Chelle and Kerstin seem like pretty good votes, and it's not like you need them around everyday anyways for admin stuff. What about your House Elves? They're used to helping you out as well.

/LIRL/ Liz is a college student, and is just on the computer a lot cause... she wants to be. Plus she uses it for classes, but, yeah, you make it sound like she works in an office x)

UM CHRIS we already discussed this MSN but... yeah I still don't know. 8| Kali? Because she... is level-headed. Also, around often, and has been here awhile. \o/

*laughs* I knew something was dodgy about it, because I knew she went to university and so... working at a desk wasn't quite right. Maybe someone else?

Singsongsang the n00bie as Admin? Could work :D Who runs Scrivenshaft right now, by the way? I get the feeling Sara'd be good doing that. Or Angel.

Hey-hoo. There are people nominating me for things in this thread, so I should probably say something, eh? *laughs*

I'm game for helping out on UR.org wherever Chris needs me to, provided she's all right with my spastic and often unpredictable schedule (and my annoying lack of appearing on MSN and Skype). C&C doesn't take up too much of my time (especially thanks to my dears Angel and Sara and my sister who's helping me with the redesign). I'm not sure you'd want to give me something huge like Scrivenshafts (at least, not the time intensive judge-wrangling/prize-awarding way it's set up now, though I'd have HELLA FUN thinking up challenges for y'all).

Whatever Chris wants, I'm good with. She is Queen of All Things.

Well, Scrivenshaft is pretty much dead, because Erin won't do it and I'm not really up for it, so maybe we could work something out. Hmm.

*grins* I don't know, Chelle, maybe we could talk about this...someday when you can show up? *laughs*

I know, I just -- I can't have those sorts of MSN chats at work, but I walk into my apartment and get swept away by friends/family/chaos without ever having planned anything. This stuff happens to me all the time. It's like a bloody teen soap opera around here.

Maybe I should start throwing MSN into my startup menu so it just turns on and logs me in automatically. You might catch me then.

We can always use Facebook/emails as well *shrugs* Up to you.

Hmm. I think that Scrivenshaft needs to be revamped before someone can be selected to run it.

Revamped how? And I didn't know Erin had abandoned it. I thought she liked being commited to the Scrivenshaft. Hm. Anyway. I think Chelle is perfect for any position that an admin can do.

I third the Sara/Scrivenshaft, though. I would hate to see those gone.

My only advice for Scrivenshafts is to take away the whole judging/award thing on a monthly basis. Maybe issue a new challenge every week or month or whatever just to give people ideas, then maybe offer out awards once every six months or a year or something if you really want to keep the awards up.

More Challenges = More Plot Bunnies for people, but Regular Awards = Lots of Work/Harassing Judges

Edited to Add: Probably email works best for me. That's how I communicate with lots of people during the day at work (including my sister... we have lots of gmail conversation threads up around the 40 or 50 message mark on a regular basis).

I think the awards came back because the round Holly wasn't going to do judging I was the only person who wrote one, rofl.

But yeah, I'd be fine with just a steady stream of prompts.

I agree with Chelle: the judges make SC ridiculous. But fic prompts are always welcome.

I love the way that Chris only announces this change in Admins after what? Six months? of it clearly being this way.

<i>Man</i>, I haven't been around here properly in ages.

Six months? More, I think. *laughs* But it's different to actually do it formally, I suppose. <s>No more yearly random news posts from Dede announcing a thousand changes she won't deliver, see.</s>

I wonder how she will react, though. Is she going to be officially removed from the admin panel?
