Wait, what? Clearly JKR was out to give a fair and accurate portrayal of all religions. I mean, that's why it's called Harry Potter and the Flying Spaghetti Monster, right?

The Daily Show recently had a great thing on the media's coverage of Spitzer - all the news networks were tracking Spitzer's car through Manhatten midday traffic on the way to his press conference. Srsly, media, no one wants to sit through traffic, much less watch it on TV.

As far as I'm concerned, Jews got representation because "Goldstein" sounds Jewish...and even if he's not Jewish or if there hadn't been any Jews I still wouldn't have given a crap. What a stupid think to get all worked up about.

GO FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER.

I wonder what would happen if I threw a fit that Wicca wasn't being represented. How long before I got divebombed? *ponders*

It has a following at my school which consists of a group of about twenty of my friends. We have also appointed my friend Niko as the area priest. I don't know how or why.

Do not accuse the high priest of blasphemy. If you do I may ex-communicate you and that would mean NO PASTA FOR YOU EVER.

If worshippers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster eat pasta does that damn them? Or is it like Communion?

Communion, obviously. Next time my mom tells me that I eat too much pasta I will accuse her of religious persecution.

It sounds like a plan.

We eat a lot of pasta in my family. I wonder if they're secretly practicing Pastafarians?

I'll bet they are. The conservative thing is really just an elaborate ruse.

I wish it was...

I asked Justyn if he understood just how conservative my mother was, and he glanced at my door (we were standing outside) and said, "Sara, she's in there making a tablecloth."
