I am from Sydney, Australia and I have actually become quite obsessed with this fic of yours and i have stayed up all night reading all of your chapters until my computer got taken away from me in the early hours of the morning before school everyday. I have actually never read any of these harry potter fanfiction internet novels before as im not really the type to stay home all weekend reading internet sites- but that is what has happened. You have really amazed me with this book, and the ideas and plots behind it are so funny i always laugh to my self whilst reading it. yes i know. quite sad. Even though i read chapter 17 the minute it came out- it has been almost 2 weeks since then, i havent been able to get your story out of my head. As i love lily with her thoughts and her diary and i am quite obsessed with james. It has been quite a distraction as i would print out your pages to read through school- as school was so boring, and i couldnt get away from your characters. I even got banned from the library from printing to many pages from the printer and "hurting the environment" which i do agree with, but they really didnt understand that i needed to read your book. I know i sound like an overlly obsessed fan. which i am honestly not usually so i hope i dont sound to wierd. Sorry got a bit away from thh topic. i tend to blab a bit when i am writing. I really wanted to thankyou, so much, you dont understand how much i enjoyed and am obsessed with your story. please keep writing, and sadly i am checking your page each day to see if chapter 18 is coming soon- because you left us on such a cliffhanger at the end of chapter seventeen. I am hoping it will come out soon? as your many fans are waiting for the final day when lily goes out with amos (and hopefully realises that he is a fag and will run after james) but not without its many twists and plots. Sorry, gone off topic again. Mainly i would just like to congratulate and thank you on this amazing book (which should be published). It is truly the most amazing thing i have ever read- I am trying to spread it around my group at school as you really do deserve the respect of a wonderful writer. All of Lily's dithering about and complaining and being stupid was really really annoying. I know you're trying to make a point, but you really could have made the exact same point and cut out half of the pointless crap in those chapters. But this one. Seriously, it makes up for it! FINALLY, she's coming around! And James, soooo hot. So, I think I'm forgiving you for being crazy late and crazy long-winded and all that, because this chapter seriously made up for it.

Your story is written with such ease, such grace that every scene automatically plays in my mind. You had me at the edge of my seat for nearly eight hours, neglecting the rest of the world (including that history midterm I dreadfully need to study for) just because I was anxious to figure out what was up with James, what would happen with Lily, and when these two stubborn people would finally get together. Your characterization is superb, exactly the way I imagined it (minus the Snape, post-DH thing, but even that aside, this story is amazing) and the writing is anything BUT cringe-worthy. In fact, I love your easygoing style. You capture Lily's voice perfectly and the title is absolutely fitting. I'm pretty positive you recieve these kinds of messages daily, but I've been up until 1 in the morning reading for the past 2 nights. This is absolutely heart stealing, breaking and warming- most all in one chapter. There are times I really just want to hit Lily in the head with a dead fish, but this is so magnificently written it keeps me checking all the time for an update. It's making me a tad mad in the head that she hasn't really realized that she's in love with James yet... Because you now it's just on the other side of the horizon... Then I read that there was more up on this site (gasp!) and I rushed over here, only to see that you were only two chapters further here. :( I thought that you had the whole story up here. I was so sad. But anyway, I love this story - whatever reason that it had to be deleted from Fanfiction.Net (which you said in the first A/N), it was not a good enough reason. As far as I know, there is nothing on the site like this; there is nothing that comes close to the wonderful tale you've woven. So I know it can't be "you copied my story, wah!" that got you in trouble or whatever. So I'll just say that whatever reason it was that this was deleted is a stupid reason, because this is a great story. :D ...That's about all I've got. I love the way you've written it, the way you present the characters and the way that you tie in all these little details to make a big picture. I love this Lily, who seems to me like a real human being, and I love how you made this a diary format that matches Meg Cabot's style. There's just one major difference: I think I like your writing better than hers. Hers is pretty much bubbly and altogether happy, with this tone of vapid teenage shallowness infused throughout. Yours, however, has more substance to it. Your writing flourishes beautifully on the page, and I can never get enough of reading it. You just do this so well, it's astonishing. I love it. I found it one or two weeks ago on fanfiction.net when i was looking for a good, long english fiction to practice my english, and here is yours so I think "hrmpf, a diary, again ?", but it's different from all the other diary stories that I had read. It's great, funny, ... but quite unrealistic : honestly, who can write so much, everywhere and still have functional fingers/hands ? So, I love your story.
