It's nothing short of brilliant - you captured Lily and James' blooming relationship so perfectly, and it didn't even have to end up with the two of them actually snogging. At first I was rather doubtful whether the concept of a James learning how to dance and a Lily coming to his rescue would actually work, but apparently you are one miracle-worker, and I congratulate you for it. I love the way your characters interacted with such a level of sincerity not often present in other fics, and without having to compromise the wit and humor of the situation. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of work that made me smile, giggle, and laugh outright. :)

(April 28th 2009, 2pm)For years, really years, i've been searching for a reasonably believable J/L fanfiction and now I've found it (and it's just one-shot). Seriously, this was the BEST J/L story i've read so far. The way you wrote both of them talking to each other was exactly what I always wanted and imagined them to be like but was never capable of writing myself. It was smart, funny and easygoing and not at all cliché.
You started with them already being friends (or at least flirting) going to being that something more that we always wonder how did it really happened. This James was not a prat and this Lily was intelligent and sweet and the Lily Evans i've met. In my humble opinion I have the pleasure of congratulating you for this amazing writing.

for some reason... whenever i just happen to check on this site for any good updates, you've updated. not that i'm complaining... it's actually kind of cool. i love your style and you're stories. they make me laugh. :)
i really loved this one - one of my favorites. james was so cute learning to dance... this thoughts on lily were awesome and the tension was enough to give me somersaults.

I adore the plot and how they each flirt, it really fits both personalities of how I imagine the two. You don't make James overly annoying to the point of having no likeable personality and same with Lily, she wasn't the stuck up, completely stubborn mean person but also very likeable. Absolutely wonderful. You are a very talented writer! I love the rest of your stories as well

(April 20th 2009, 6pm)Ooh, that was delicious! I think it was probably my favourite of your one-shots, really, despite the fact that there's no climactic resolution (read: kiss) at the end. I rather liked that you left it just a little bit open, and their exchanges (as always) were so very, very Lily and James. Much as I love Commentarius, these James' PoV pieces are tremendous (mostly because I adore your James). You write both of the characters so well. One line that absolutely struck me was: "She didn't object. He tried not to hope." It seems to encapsulate the growing change in their relationship so well; the uncertainty, the hope. Wonderful, wonderful job as always, Bee!

(April 20th 2009, 1am)This was just what I needed as a study break (really, when are research papers going to learn to write themselves?). I always love your work and this was no exception. It was great to see something from James' point of view - to see him resigned, frustrated, and hopeful but not as obsessive and pathetic as he's often written. And it was great to see a transition piece - one that didn't end with them admitting their undying love for one another and snogging in the hallway. I like seeing them slowly redefining their relationship =)
All in all, nice work!
