A lot of the time I read a "parody" and I think someone should parody the "parody" just because the "parody" is basically a string of cliche after cliche. I like how you've actually given this one a story and a direction -that it could work as a Serious-ish Story- but you've incorporated your Pet peeves into the storyline. heh. (If someone wrote a parody of a parody I would nominate you to write it!) Good stuff! Waiting for the rest! (bahahah loved the line bout Lily using her Blackberry for James' msn n mobile number! • Written by Serena on chapter #3. (May 22nd 2007, 5pm) Why are Sirius and Remus calling each other "vous"? That's very formal French you're using. The subject pronoun "nous" is hardly ever used in conversational French and they hardly ever say "pouvons-nous" even for a question. It would be "Nous pouvons ..." or better "On peut ..." Sorry. Sorry. I am nitpicky about French because I'm super-proud of being about the only American in the world who speaks it. French mistakes or oddities just stick out at me ... I don't really care. OMG! this is SUCH a good story. like i'm in looooove with sirius and everything. like, can you make me a character and hook me up with him or soething lol??????? i really like teh sex because its so realistic. like, that's treu looooooooove you know? Author Response: Well I can't speak French, and I'm not American, so I wouldn't really know about Americans who can speak French. I basically got all of those from a very rude phrase book. ("Who he wanted to fuck. Hard. In the face!"). And the anagrams of Lily's friends' names were positively genius. The only sad and slightly frightening thing is that I have read so many fics that had one or more elements of this plot where the author was 100 per cent serious. God, I fear for the future of humanity. Anyway, phenomenal job. I can't wait to read more. :) Author Response: Hehehe, I've put about five 'Hard. In the face!' lines in my next chapter, in the places where they make the least sense. Eg: "Lily started to panic. Hard. In the face!" I like that line.
