(August 14th 2010, 6pm)First of all, sorry I haven't commented this earlier though I've read it a looong time ago. I think this fic is really good, and original since I haven't ever read another fanfic where Lily would be dating someone other than James, or where she wouldn't have two or three friends that fall for the other Marauders! So, big applause for that. :)
And, I actually have a question for you. I'm registered at a Finnish Harry Potter fanfiction forum called FinFanFun and I was wondering whether you would let me translate this fic into Finnish and put it on that page with, of course, your name as the author and my name only as the translator?

(August 14th 2010, 3am)I love this story! But Argh..I am so frustrated by lily. Why is she acting so helpless? She is so weak and stupid it is driving me up a wall.

(August 2nd 2010, 6pm)I read this story a long time ago... I think it was the original one on FFnet and I don't think I ever finished it. Coming back to it now, all these years later, it's still exactly as amazing as I remember!
I really liked the character developments of Lily, James, and Sirius. Oftentimes there are cliche characters that they become, like nerdy Lily, or overbearing James, but your Lily, James, and Sirius are exactly as I want them to be in my mind.
And despite its open-endedness, the ending is my favorite :)
Thank you for this amazing story!

(July 26th 2010, 7pm)I am simply sitting here, here in my kitchen, trying to make words to explain how amazing this story was. I have a million things I should be doing, starting with writing my own work and ending with packing for a trip, but I am NOT doing these things.
It's taking 4 days, with ridiculous interferences in between, but I've finally read this story cover-to-cover and I have to say...I loved it A LOT.
I liked that you weren't afraid to give James mood swings, that Lily was a bit of a slag, but could always find reason behind it, that you weren't scared of some character deaths and most importantly: It. Didn't. End. Happy.
Yes, things worked out in the end, but there was too much sadness, too much confusion and angst that I didn't smile at the end.
Oh, and I liked YOU in this story as well, the non-obnoxious author notes and the song choices for each chapter. Something Corporate is my love, and Andrew McMahon is my lov-ER so thanks for that. The Dashboard reference was also cool. This story was PHENOMENAL. Brilliant, professional and sexxxxy :-))Undoubtably in love with this work of art,

(July 9th 2010, 8am)I loved this story. Loved it. I usually gravitate to the silly or utterly fluffy fics, but I think you made me reconsider angst (which is quite a feat, let me tell you). Anyway thanks for writing this, it was simply moving.

(January 15th 2010, 6pm)Great chapter!! I've been reading this for the past days and I loved the story. The end was absolutely lovely. I really liked the way it was not a happy ending (and those are my favourite ones, mind you), but it was more like a hopeful ending. Awesome job.

(July 13th 2009, 7am)I've read both Lust or Love and You Cant Hurry Love years ago and now I'm reading them again and I figured that I really liked and like them. I love the way you write and more than that I love your James. He's so intense and so passionate and just so James its amazing. I've read so much of Lily/James fanfiction, all the stories are mixed up in my head but your fic really stands out - the characters are really real - and James is perfect. Thanks for writing it. I'm not going to forget it in a hurry. :)

(February 11th 2009, 3am)This was absolutely gorgeous. I had almost forgotten about this story, but I stumbled upon it when looking for some good fics to read. I just spent the last few hours reading this and I absolutely loved it. The entire journey they go through is mind boggling. I wish there was more to read.

(January 5th 2009, 11am)I've been reading fanfiction for around 5 years now, and I read this story about 3 years ago or so in fanfiction and since then, I've come back to it several more times. It's become like a constant in my life, like a book I am constantly rereading. I just wanted to let you know that I, personally, haven't read a story that has touched me more in he fanfic world than Lust or Love =). I've read most of your other stories and find them great too, but this one...I don't know...It has something else. I just thought you might like to know =). So, congratulations.

(November 1st 2008, 6pm)This is one of THEE best fics I have ever read...and I've read a lot.
There's actually something quite similar to a fic of my own but I'm stating right here, right now, you did it first and better. Hopefully no one will call foul on that cause it's honestly only the first time I've read this.ANYWAYS.
You are pretty much a brilliant and flawless writer.
Now I'm going to finish reading. :)

(June 28th 2008, 2pm)I just spent last night and all morning reading this... I'm sure you've heard this a million times but it was SO good. You are truly talented and I was jealous the whole time reading it because I wish I could write as amazingly as you do. I liked the ending too. Its good how everything didn't go to being perfect all of a sudden, but you still know that it will work out.

bluetomatopasta on chapter #30.Sarina...this last chapter is LOVE. Seriously. It was perfectly bittersweet--not so bitter that you leave us unsatisfied with the love story bit, but not so sweet that you leave us unsatisfied with the dramatic bit.
I love your characterizations; your characters grew and changed throughout the story, and they revealed intimate parts of themselves. And the best part--they were real. They made mistakes. They were immature, so they fought. A lot..sometimes with seemingly no reason. But in the end, it's obvious that they all loved each other or hated each other (depending on which characters we're talking about, of course).
Basically the only quibble I have with LoL is the fact that you had, oh, about 8 typos throughout the story (sorry..I can't remember them all, so I can't point them out! Stupid, I know), but that really doesn't matter. Your grammar was impeccable, your dialogue was perfectly natural, your story had its risings and fallings, and, as I said, your characterizations were spot-on.
I went through each little "bump in the road" with my heart literally beating insanely fast...I read the whole thing in only three sittings (I would've done it in fewer if I didn't insist on reading it at night, right before bed)...I fell in love with your James, I fell in love with your Lily, I fell in love with your Sirius and your Remus.
And somehow, through it all, you had some funny bits. I think that's the mark of a really good story (/writer); life does have its funny bits, so it's important not to forgo those and have pure angst, drama, romance, tragedy, etc.
Everything was believable, despite how exasperated I became at Lily/James' mood swings. And that's really all that's important...
So, thank you, Sarina =).
Love,
Kaye

bluetomatopasta on chapter #16.So, I'm going to bed right now...but I just wanted to pop by and say HI SARINA! And I'm glad I decided to read this again, because it's even better than I remember (I was a fanfiction n00b when I read it the first time 'round, see).
You've given the characters depth, and they do the lovely foot-in-mouth thing that all real people do (I find myself doing it quite a bit, in fact).
Ummm yes, that's basically all I've got to say. I'll be back tomorrow to finish it off...
Love,
KayeWritten by Anonymous on chapter #30.
(August 16th 2007, 4am)This story was AMAZING. Seriously. And I don't usually read fanfics. I love that you took the characters that were created and added depth to their personalities (Sirius' nature was enhanced, Lily was insecure, etc). I love that you gave the ending the type of twist (with Rebecca) that JKR herself would have been proud of. I just loved this story so much. I started reading and could not stop, even forgetting to eat dinner! You are an amazing writer with a talent for bring stories to life. I can't wait to read more of your stories!

(August 4th 2007, 5am)So my friends and I were talking about our opinions on the last book and the backstories of all the characters.
One of them said that she wished JKR had told more of how James and Lily had gotten together.
My other friend replied, "Well, it's obvious. Lust or Love happened. It's true; I'm not kidding."
And then we collectively smiled and agreed this story was quite cannon and fantastic. I believe so.
So, thank you. Thought I'd share.Author Response: And thank you for sharing! I got that rare warm fuzzy feeling. :)
